As a Material Handler, you're a member of an assigned production crew, reporting to the Plant Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. The Golden plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 4 on 4 off, rotating days to nights every month.
High School Diploma or education equivalent. 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment.
3 or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift. Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management. Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system.
May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to: Hot/Cold working conditions. Loud /Noisy environment. Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).
