You’ll provide medical and surgical supplemental services within an assigned clinic. Every aspect of your work will reflect the Legacy mission of making life better for others.Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is an ACS Verified Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma Center that admits about 2700 patients per year. The trauma/acute care surgeons cover trauma evaluations, emergency general surgery consults, and the surgical intensive care unit. There is an elective general surgery component, and a DaVinci Xi robot available. Legacy Emanuel also has a busy ECMO service with an established pathway for the interested candidate to become credentialed to provide ECMO services, though this is not required. The trauma service has 24/7 surgical resident and APP coverage. Teaching and research opportunities are abundant.Candidates must be BC/BE in General surgery and have completed a Surgical Critical Care fellowship. All experience levels will be considered.
